Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo, utilizing proper techniques for heavy lifting and securing loads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and forklift operation.

Experience

Air Brake Endorsement Class 5 Drivers Licence Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay: $200.00-$240.00 per day
