Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver with Air Brakes endorsement (Class 5 eligible) to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Utilize forklifts and other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and cargo documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.

Requirements

Valid class 4 license with air brakes is required. Previous experience in truck driving or commercial driving preferred. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus. Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. A commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the road and at loading docks.
