Mountain View Disposal is a local, family owned garbage company. We are dedicated to exceptional customer service within the Agassiz, Chilliwack, Harrison Hot Springs, and Abbotsford areas.
Due to continued growth we require a driver capable of operating a front load garbage truck (class 3 with air)
We are willing to train the right individual that shows the desire to work.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate garbage trucks to collect and transport waste materials to designated facilities.
Pre-trips and post-trip checks on vehicles.
Ensure the garbage collection equipment is in working order.
Follow specific routes and pickup schedules.
Communicate effectively and courteously with customers and colleagues. Maintain accurate records of daily pick-ups and deliveries.
Qualifications:
A valid driver's license (Class 3 with air).
Experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles preferred.
The ability to work in all weather conditions.
Physically fit and capable of lifting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations is essential.
Remuneration:
Competitive wage $30.00 starting, plus benefits.
