Truck Driver/ Lumber Yard Attendant
We are a busy owner/operated Home Hardware Building Centre that has been in business for over 35 years, we have a trading area and customers in Calgary, Okotoks and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who can provide safe and efficient driving and delivery of building materials to customers and construction sites. Competitive wages, benefits and staff discounts.
This position involves a combination of responsibilities.
On days when deliveries or pickups are not required, you will work in the Lumber Yard, assisting customers with their orders and supporting various tasks as directed by Yard management. These additional duties may include yard cleanup, stocking, and general organization.Truck Driver Duties would include:
Delivery and Pickup of building materials in Calgary and Okotoks and surrounding areas
Load and unloading of building materials using picker and forklifts
Follow all site safety rules and procedures
Assist in the lumber yard when not driving
Qualifications:
Class 1 or 3 drivers license w/air ticket (please provide drivers abstract)
Forklift and picker experience an asset
Good communication skills
Good safety record
Good physical condition
