Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight between designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. Ensure that all freight is secured properly for safe transportation.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation. Strong understanding of automotive repair principles is a plus. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $5,000.00-$6,500.00 per month
