South Central Building Systems is hiring a Transport Driver to join our amazing team in Carman, Manitoba. South Central Building Systems (an Atlas Engineered Products (AEP) Company), is one of Canada's fastest growing, publicly traded, supplier of trusses, and engineered products, with manufacturing and distribution facilities across the country.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and motivated, with a focus on providing a high degree of external and internal customer service as we grow our team and business!
This position is essential to our smooth day to day operations at Pacer and is a core role in the company. As a Transport Driver for this busy facility, clear communication, cooperation, and collaboration will be crucial for success.

Duties include, but are not limited to
Ensure all order shipments are stacked, marked, banded, and loaded correctly to ensure the entire product order makes it onto the truck;
Correctly read work orders and keep accurate records of all shipped product;
Alert shipper immediately when a shipment has missed or damaged product when loading;
Ensure all products included in the delivery reach the job site and are signed off by the customer;
Inform supervisor of any possible site/delivery issues for future deliveries;
Perform daily pre-trip and equipment checklists;
Perform all deliveries to the Manitoba Worker's Compensation Board and Dept. of Transportation safety standards;
Report any customer concerns, incidents, or maintenance issues to your supervisor;
Keep all equipment in clean maintained condition;
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
Qualifications and Experiences
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and delivery paperwork
Must have a valid Manitoba Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving history (Class 1 license preferred);
Grade 12 or equivalent;
Valid forklift license preferred;
Knowledge of the local area is an asset.
