Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
• Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial Class 1 driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: From $6,500.00 per month
