Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving Proficient in operating forklifts for loading and unloading cargo would be an asset Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
