Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse distribution environment.

Duties

Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring all items are correctly selected and prepared for shipping. Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading deliveries and organizing incoming stock. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all products are stored properly within the warehouse. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and order statuses. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in order picking techniques and familiarity with warehouse distribution processes. Experience operating forklifts and clamp trucks; certification is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is advantageous. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and orders. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
