Invico has an immediate opening for a

Treasury and Accounts Payable Specialist

on the Energy Team. This is a 3+ day a week, hybrid position in Calgary, AB. In this role, the successful candidate will need superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities



Review and record vendor invoices using Qbyte FM. Perform general accounting functions, including the preparation of various monthly journal entries. Treasury functions, including cash application, intercompany entries, and monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and process monthly EFT and cheque payment runs. Reconcile vendor and Jib statements and resolve any discrepancies. Reconcile the Accounts Payable and Receivable sub-ledger, including for non-op JV partner billings. Assist Controller, Energy Accounting with financial statement related items, as required. Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, projects, and systems. Potential for additional accounting functions as required.

Required Education, Experience & Skills



3+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, ideally oil and gas.

Formal financial accounting education and background would be an asset, as would an Accounting degree or designation.

Qbyte FM proficiency strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,555.00-$555,555.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
