The Opportunity The Travel Technology Director is responsible for delivering competitive, best-in-class tools to manage travel operations. The Manager will organize the execution of all Travel Technology designs, deployment, and programming to support our travel technology systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Provide leadership to Travel Technology team of analysts to help support multiple projects and existing products. \xc2\xb7 Elevate vendor relationships by actively managing & partnering with each vendor. \xc2\xb7 Provide solutions from concept implementation to production support of enabling travel technologies that will drive business growth and operational efficiencies. \xc2\xb7 Manage the day-to-day operations of the company\xe2\x80\x99s Travel Technology department. \xc2\xb7 Resolve issues with existing vendors. \xc2\xb7 Improve our Travel Technology applications for maximum productivity. \xc2\xb7 Manage department\'s recruitment and retention efforts. \xc2\xb7 Increase user satisfaction and manage system issues and outages. Management Responsibilities Lead and manage employees in the Travel Technology department Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required \xc2\xb7 A Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. \xc2\xb7 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Global Distribution Systems. \xc2\xb7 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting, programing, and administering Online Booking Tools \xc2\xb7 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting, programing, and administering Reservation Management System. \xc2\xb7 Experience working with agile development methodologies such as SCRUM and KANBAN. \xc2\xb7 Ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams; excellent customer service, situational leadership, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and strong ethical values.
