POSITION: Support Agent, Merit Golf & Ski
LOCATION: Hybrid Merit Travel is looking for a result driven individual who is eager to continue their career in Travel! The ideal candidate will possess superb people skills, love sales and building relationships but most of all love Travel. What does the job entail? The Support Agent is an entry-level position therefore, all tasks are inter-related and directly overseen by a supervisor or manager. The Support Agent\xe2\x80\x99s main accountability is to aid the Ski & Golf Consultants through the completion of administrative tasks. This is a fundamental role as it provides support and coordination for the overall department, meaning the job holder must actively demonstrate resourcefulness within the scope of responsibilities, initiative, and self-efficiency.   • Process agent trips and produce client statements.
  • Work closely with suppliers to support the Golf and Ski division.
  • Verify commission statements.
  • Various administrative duties to assist the Merit Golf and Ski division.
  • Processing insurances
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, in English and French (an asset)
  • Knowledge of products offered by TravelBrands Inc.
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, Access)
  • Knowledge of TTS/Chaos/Amadeus/Travcom (preferable)
  • Attention to detail and accountability
  • Logical and analytical thinking
  • TICO Certified
  • ClientLinq
Other Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years on the job experiences and/or performing similar duties required.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proven time management skill to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Positive attitude and personable.
  • Adaptable and able to keep up with organizational change.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
