Job Description


We are currently seeking an organized individual that can handle multiple tasks at hand and prioritize based on sense of urgency.You will be responsible for the organization, storage, and distribution of goods and people to our client\xe2\x80\x99s worksites. The Travel Coordinator will report to the Human Resources Manager. This is a permanent full-time position in our Osoyoos, BC office. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Work as a part of the HR and Scheduling team to plan execution strategies for remote camp projects \xc2\xb7 Book flights, hotels, rental vehicles, shuttles for projects in various locations across Canada \xc2\xb7 Oversee the movement of staff from locations across Canada to various worksites \xc2\xb7 Assist the accounting team in billing travel expenses appropriately \xc2\xb7 Communicate crew change logistics to staff members in the field \xc2\xb7 Work with the Human Resources department and the operations department to optimize efficiency and cost effectiveness during crew changes \xc2\xb7 Risk management regarding different modes of transportation and create mitigations as necessary \xc2\xb7 Share \xe2\x80\x9con call\xe2\x80\x9d responsibilities with the operations team to ensure coverage after-hours and on weekends. Flexible availability to react to travel changes after hours Required Knowledge & Experience \xc2\xb7 Minimum 5 years\' experience in travel administration/coordinator position \xc2\xb7 Must have geographical knowledge to move personnel across Canadian cities, sense of urgency and be able to prioritize as situations quickly change. \xc2\xb7 Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) \xc2\xb7 Previous experience working in mining or mineral exploration would be an asset \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Canadian Geography would be an asset Preferred Licensing & Certifications: \xc2\xb7 Administrative or Travel Certification preferred or years of relevant experience \xc2\xb7 Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits:
