Our CNRL Horizon location is seeking an

experienced Travel Coordinator

for a

temporary full-time rotational assignment until the end of November.





The successful candidate will work

7 days on and 7 days off schedule, averaging 80 hours per week.

This position falls under an approved averaging agreement, and overtime will only be paid for hours exceeding 160 in a 4-week period.




Flights from Calgary or Edmonton and camp accommodations are provided.




Description:



The Travel Coordinator is responsible for assisting CNRL's Corporate Travel Department with booking all Fly-in / Fly-out (FIFO) employee flights and camp accommodation. Travel Coordinators will report directly to the Transportation Performance Coordinator.




Responsibilities:



Coordinate and book flights for CNRL staff in alignment with company travel policies. Arrange camp accommodations. Monitor and manage travel itineraries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery. Ensure all bookings are completed promptly to support operational efficiency. Verify travel details for accuracy, including traveler names, dates, destinations, and any special requirements. Maintain detailed and organized records of all travel arrangements and confirmations. Liaise with internal departments and camp administrators to ensure seamless travel coordination. Communicate travel plans and updates to staff in a clear, professional, and timely manner. Respond to travel-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Adhere to CNRL's travel policies and procedures, with a focus on cost control, safety, and compliance. Ensure exceptional, courteous, and respectful customer service. Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment. Comply with and participate in the Company's Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives. Perform any other duties as required.


Qualifications and Experience:



Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a travel coordination or administrative role, preferably within the oil and gas or remote site operations sector. Proven experience using flight reservation software, with strong proficiency in Innfinity. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on clarity and professionalism. Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract; no restrictions permitted. Able to meet all required pre-employment and site access screening, including but not limited to:

o Common Safety Orientation (CSO) course

o Horizon Contractor Orientation

o Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Test

Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to representing the company positively. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a dynamic and changing environment.
