Duties



Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management and customer relationship management strategies. Identify new business opportunities through lead generation and networking within the B2B sales environment. Utilize transportation management systems to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless logistics planning and execution of transportation services. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards. Conduct data entry for client interactions and sales activities into CRM software to maintain accurate records. Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies. Support inside sales efforts by responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, and following up on leads.

Skills



Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. Proficiency in transportation management systems and logistics operations. Experience in B2B sales, particularly within the freight or logistics sectors. Familiarity with CRM software for effective account management and data tracking. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Understanding of contracts, pricing strategies, and compliance with relevant regulations such as FDA guidelines. Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail in dispatching and order fulfillment processes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for persuasive selling techniques.
