Job Description


American Eagle Carrier Inc. is looking for an professional, organized, energetic and dedicated individual with experience in the transportation Industry. The ideal candidate must have the ability to deal with deadlines and overcome difficulties, requires good communication skills which are be essential when conducting daily operations with customers, drivers, and industry professionals. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating all functions relating to the pickup and delivery of all shipments
  • Provide rate quotations and assist with transportation and logistics proposals to clients
  • Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving issues that may arise, monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Identifies target markets within designated geographical area. Qualifies/ascertains lists of prospects from Company leads and other publications.
  • Prospects potential customers via aggressive phone sales. Conducts client visitations when required. Obtains pertinent information concerning prospects. Enters new customer data and other sales data for prospective customers into computer database.
  • Qualifies feasibility of potential customers based on our capability to service them effectively. Identifies the needs and wants of each potential customer.
  • Develops and maintains positive on-going relationships with all prospective clients.
  • Conducts follow-up calls on prospects.
  • Provides rates and alternative freight solutions for potential clients.
  • Collaborates with operations department to problem-solve and provide optimal transportation service.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by the Manager
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and as a team when needed
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in dispatch and sales
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in sales and dispatch of commercial vehicles
