The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, communication, and organizational skills with a focus on being service oriented. We are building the Transportation Practice here in Alberta and looking for a positive, collaborative, and highly-engaged self-starter who will help us build our practice. Our Edmonton\xe2\x80\x90based team regularly collaborates on projects with our U.S. compatriots, which offers you access to a deep bench of technical specialists.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s some additional skillsets we are looking for:

  • 8 plus years of total experience, including prior transportation design and at least 3 years of Project Management experience.
  • P.Eng. or P.L. Eng preferred.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Support in building/implementing a business strategy to successfully grow and deliver the existing roads and highways business within Alberta and for the Western Canada Region.
  • Oversee all facets of project performance, including staff allocation and schedule achievement, project quality and assurance, and contract and budget management.
  • Prepare proposals, generate new business from existing or prospective clients, and engage in industry functions for business development and networking purposes.
  • Work closely with project teams \xe2\x80\x93 including sub\xe2\x80\x90consultants \xe2\x80\x93 in both the design and construction phases of a project.
  • Serve as the client liaison, interacting directly with clients on all aspects of the projects you lead.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revisions.
  • Mentor and train new transportation staff and provide technical leadership.
