Pillar & Post is looking for a Full-Time Driver to join our growing team!
Position Summary:
Receives and delivers inter-office and/or outside mail and drives various company vehicles as requested/needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
Deliver and pick up inter-hotel mail at all the properties in a timely fashion
Retrieve company mail at the local post office
Drive bus, vans, and other company owned vehicles
Assist with vehicle maintenance
Accompany the Accounting representative on bank visits
Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties Limited's products and services
Actively seeking ways to meet guests' product or service needs
All other duties as assigned
Professional Requirements:
Must be 25 years old and hold a clean driving record for insurance purposes
A valid class "G" driver's license
Two years experience in a transportation environment
Basic auto mechanics experience an asset
Excellent safety record
+ Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset
Personal Attributes:
Good interpersonal skills and common sense
Particular attention to health and safety
Dependable and reliable
Ethical and honest
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Must be able to push or pull heavy loads up to 50 lbs
Other physical demands include bending, twisting, carrying, sitting and standing for extended periods of time
