Position Summary The Transportation Clerk is responsible for a live debriefing of drivers in real-time for cost validation, providing dispatch and driver support using various systems. Providing the business with information when requested which includes drivers, stores, and different departments throughout. Location: Ajax Schedule: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on 4 days on 4 days off schedule What you will do
Debrief drivers throughout the day on OLN retrievals, pickups completed/not completed
Creating new load IDs systematically for redeliveries and pickups in the Dispatch tool
Generating paperwork for the new load IDs using the Dispatch Tool
Monitor action required in Appian (Driver App)
Answering phones. Placing service calls assisting stores with issues that arise, assisting drivers with trailer/pick up/hour of service issues
Monitoring emails: Re-Deliveries, Swaps, and restacks
Assisting dispatch when required: Preparing trailer gate passes, printing paperwork

6 months to 1 year of experience working in Transportation
High school diploma
Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Teams, and Google Spreadsheets, along with the ability to learn other service management databases
Geographic knowledge of Ontario
