Transport Truck Driver - Class 1 Driver

Bay St. George Ready-Mix Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to support our business operations based in Stephenville, Newfoundland. The successful candidate must possess a Class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement and have at least two years' driving experience. Preference will also be given to applicants who have completed a formal heavy equipment operator program. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's licence, possess a positive work ethic, good safety record and provide both an acceptable police records check and a clean drivers abstract. The ideal applicant will also have completed high school or equivalent.

The successful candidate may be expected to work a flexible schedule in order to meet customer demands. All operators / drivers are required to complete pre-trip inspection reports and participate in general cleaning and maintenance of the plant and yard. Bay St. George Ready-Mix Ltd class 1 drivers will primarily deliver concrete sand and aggregates to support west coast batch plant operations between Stephenville, Corner Brook and Port aux Basques however, drivers may also be assigned to operate other pieces of equipment for which they are qualified and to perform other duties as required. Wage for position of $25.95.
