Salary: $22.55/hr (overall compensation) upon eligibility of company bonus (after 6 months) including company benefits. Hours: 77 hours Bi-weekly working 7pm-7am. Four days off every four days with this attractive schedule of 4 nights on followed by 4 days off.

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Transfer Driver / Funeral Attendant to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

• Receiving the decedent into care from the appropriate location.
• Delivery of the decedent to the place of service.
• Set up of the decedent for identification or visitations.
• Responsible for the delivery of paperwork relating to the decedent.
• Updating files of the computer related to the decedent.

Funeral Service Duties

• Driving families to and from services.
• Assisting with the set up for a service.
• Delivery of flowers to the service.
• Welcoming and/or ushering of the attendees of a service.

Qualifications Required:

• Professional, helping and caring demeanor.
• Valid Class 5 (Non-GDL) Drivers License for a minimum of five years - commercial or non-commercial driving experience with less than five demerits
• Last 3 years of claims experience letter/statement from your insurance provider
• Must be comfortable working with the deceased entrusted into our care and their families
• Excellent customer service skills \xe2\x80\x93 one-year minimum customer service experience required
• Must be able to lift a Casket
• Flexible working weekends, long hours, night shifts, public holidays (if required)
• Able to manage, assign and prioritize daily tasks
• Team player
• Attention to detail is a must
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & typing)
