Job Summary
Reporting to, Manager, Training and Systems Support, this position supports the Techncial Operations trainng program through course development and improvement, training related manuals/documentation and LMS administrative functions.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop regulatory and technical training programs and material relating to Technical Operations for all users
  • Use online learning platforms, guides, simulations and in-person instructional techniques to build Technical Operations Team Members proficiencies
  • Independently review, develop and upgrade training programs and material as required by departmental needs and process changes
  • Ensure training programs support regulatory compliance and operational readiness
  • Contribute to AMOS efficiencies and the implementation of new modules through training and process development
  • Recommends process improvements in collaboration with Technical Operations leadership
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and validation of systems processes
  • Improve end-user system adoption and proficiency through targeted training interventions
  • Act as a Super User for the Learning Management System for internal and externally managed training activities. This includes setting up curriculum, user access and governance of the LMS.
  • Participate in regular organisational meetings
  • Actively participate in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

Qualifications
  • Adult Learning Techniques (Certificate of Adult Education or similar) - required
  • Computer Based course development - required
  • Experience working in aviation maintenance departments - asset
  • Experience with aviation maintenance management software systems - asset
  • High level of computing and software skills/knowledge - required
