Our People & Organization team in St. John\'s, NL, is now looking for a Training/Logistics Coordinator. This energetic person will ensure all regulatory, technical, and offshore required training is coordinated, documented, and managed for all employees, vendors, and subcontractors. Coordinate corporate training and professional development courses according to established policies and budgets. Track movement of personnel on various projects and update POB - Personnel on Board planner for offshore installation with work rotations, vacation, and training.

What will you be doing?

Work with department managers to ensure all personnel required training is sourced, approved, and necessary certificates are obtained; Work with department managers to assess training needs and identify gaps that are to be addressed; Work with department managers and client training administrators to establish and demonstrate technical competencies programs, as required. Maintain Aker Solutions databases for all employee training through e-learning and in-house classroom attendance; Ensure client-specific training is incorporated in project-specific training matrices for various sites and project locations, as required; Ensure vendor and subcontract personnel meet regulatory and client-established training requirements; Track movement of personnel on various projects and update Personnel on Board planner for offshore installation with work rotations, vacation, and training; Assist with travel authorizations; communicate with personnel on travel arrangements, mobilization offshore, etc.; Work with Sr Training Coordinator and HSSE Manager to obtain required certifications for personnel, ensuring they are cleared for travel using the Ad-Hoc Mobilization Checklist; Participate in weekly construction planning meetings; Assist accounting with the management/tracking of travel expenses and vendor invoices as required to allocate costs correctly to the appropriate project; Track rest and leave periods to adhere to Fatigue Management requirements. Liaison and act as a focal point for communicating POB changes to vendors and subcontract providers; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays and provide support 24/7, as required for personnel logistics.

We think you should have:

Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain and Logistics or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience; Comprehensive experience administering East Coast Canada Offshore Training and qualifications; 3 - 5 years experience in an administrative role dealing with travel, accommodation, and logistics support; Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite; Ability to effectively communicate with peers, customers, clients and management, both verbally and in writing; Solid understanding of mandatory Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) guidelines and requirements.
