About the role

.




The Training Facilitator will provide support successful implementation of training programs that support both Plants at Coaldale. They will also develop training materials and documentation, support with delivery of annual training and refreshers, and are accountable for key tracking and delivery of training, and assist the Training Manger and Training Department as needed.

What you'll be doing.



Keeps all stakeholders informed of training programs. Creates and maintains training materials, including but not limited to training manuals, SOP's, JSA's, one-point lessons, checklists, tests, reviews, etc. for the support and delivery training initiatives and/or programs that are determined and assigned by the Training Manager based on plant needs (i.e. NHO, Refresher Training, E-Learnings, etc.) Evaluates the progress of training and analyzes the effectiveness of training procedures and training materials. Drafts, completes, records, and maintains all training documentation and records in professional, legible, and timely manner. Administration of all E-Learnings for both Plants, and will track and follow up with assigned learnings, as well as report outcomes. Treats people with respect, follows-up on commitments, and strives to uphold organizational values. Actively looks and seeks out areas of improvement with the training process. Maintains the confidentiality of trainees, trainers, supervisors, and managers. Able to speak clearly in front of large groups and deliver training in an effective manner. Able to write clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information. Use time efficiently by prioritizing and planning required work activities. Communicate any problems or changes in working environment to appropriate personnel. Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process to ensure a quality operation. Performs assigned tasks in a manner that does not endanger the environment and adhere to company and regulatory standards. Promotes and adheres to company safety regulations. Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need to be successful.




Associated diploma, degree and/or technical certification with prior leadership experience is preferred. Twelve months related experience and/or some combination of college or technical courses and experience. Demonstrated Training experience would be an asset.

Must have the ability to write clear and concise correspondence and routine reports. Effectively present and train and provide information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

.




Ability to apply a reasonable person understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications

.



Required to obtain and maintain a factory issued power industrial vehicle (PIV) license for any and/or all classifications would be an asset: + Valid forklift operator's license.
+ Valid telehandler operator's license.
+ Valid aerial lift operator's license.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 34.57 CAD hourly
