Training and Compliance Coordinator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance Program Development & Implementation
Collaborating with HSE and HR to enforce policies, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to legal and internal standards.
Training & Development
Coordinating training sessions, onboarding, ticket tracking, and ensuring client-specific requirements are met.
Internal Dispatching
Managing crew and equipment assignments for pipeline, civil, and facility projects, while maintaining real-time dispatch logs and ensuring compliance before deployment.
Monitoring & Reporting
Utilizing WorkHub to track compliance, training progress, and maintain detailed records for reporting purposes.
Collaboration & Communication
Liaising with field teams, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth operations and alignment across departments.
Risk Management
Identifying and mitigating risks related to training gaps, dispatch errors, and compliance breaches.
Drug and Alcohol Testing Coordination
Scheduling and managing testing protocols while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Discretion and Confidentiality
Handling sensitive employee information with integrity and ensuring privacy in all communications and processes.
CORE SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficiency in WorkHub, Excel, and dispatch tracking tools
Awareness of OHS protocols and provincial regulations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across departments
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
QUALIFICATIONS:
Local to Sexsmith/Grande Prairie area
1-2 years' experience in an oilfield office environment preferred.
Must be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, while managing competing tasks.
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Sharepoint, and Adobe.
Familiarity with Workhub required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional phone etiquette.
Outstanding level of attention to detail.
Punctual and reliable.
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 - 75 per week
