Kingpin Trailers Ltd is a customer focused semi trailer service center. We specialize in general repairs and maintenance, welding, body work, parts and trailer sales.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Title

: Transport Trailer Technician (Heavy duty trailer mechanic)

Terms of employment

:

Monday to Friday (8am - 4:30pm) Permanent Full time

Credentials

: Heavy duty trade certification/apprentice

Experience

: 3 years plus experience an asset

Specific Skills:

Trouble shoot, inspect and repair trailers to detect the extent of malfunctions and faults Trailer CVIP license Electrical/ ABS and air systems Adjust repair or replace defective parts to ensure proper performance Body work knowledge on trailers On call service truck operator Written explanations and associated paperwork

Additional Skills:

May be required to share knowledge, maintain maintenance records, work orders and other documentation as required. The ability to discuss work with the shop foreman or service manager and adjust to a fast-paced environment may also be required.

Additional Requirements:

Must provide your own steel toed boots and tools. Some positions may also require you to provide a clean driver's abstract.

Kingpin Trailers fosters a continuous learning environment as such all candidates must be willing to complete their apprenticeship training to the journeyman level. As well as obtain a good working knowledge of preventative maintenance as it pertains to Kingpin's operations.
