Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Mechanic I on a permanent basis at our Region Office in Regina, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for: * Mechanical services on petroleum delivery units.

• Mechanical services and repairs on semi-trailer units such as suspension work, performing wheel alignments, troubleshooting, and repairing airbrake systems, and ABS systems.
• Installing and troubleshooting truck mounted fuel management equipment including power take offs, pumps, and meters.
• Installing and troubleshooting 12/24 V electrical truck and trailer components.
• Testing and inspections required by Transport Canada on cargo tanks and associated equipment.
• Operating, maintaining, and servicing steamer.
• Preventative maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
• Understanding and following department rules and regulations regarding equipment, tools and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

• You have a valid high school education (or equivalent). Must be able to obtain a Class 3A driver's license.
• You have a minimum of 1-2 years related experience. Welding experience with CWB GMAW flat certification is preferred.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You're honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday from 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM.
