Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information.: \xe2\x80\x93 Traffic & Transit ManagerJob Purpose: Traffic & Transit Manager will have in-depth knowledge of the local GTA traffic requirements (ie. by-laws, regulations, Applicable Law, practices, guidelines, manuals, standards, specifications, etc.) required for P3 heavy civil construction projects.ResponsibilitiesManaging a team to plan, coordinate, track, monitor, and implement traffic control operations while meeting strict construction start deadlinesIdentify early signs of risk to construction works scheduleResponsible for development, modifications/updates, implementation, and management of Traffic and Transit Management Plans (TTMPs) and Traffic Control Plans (TCPs)Responsible for coordination with others carrying out works is areas adjacent to the ProjectManaging relationships with the Client, Governmental Authorities, and other StakeholdersLeading meetings with the Client, Government Authorities, and other StakeholdersCommunicating both internally and externally regarding ongoing and upcoming traffic activitiesEnsuring the timing and organized delivery of public and Stakeholder communication informationCoordinating with engineers, contractors, inspectors, the Client, Government Authorities, Stakeholders, and other relevant parties regarding traffic and transit management activitiesAssisting and providing inputs to support Permit, Licence, Approval and Agreement (PLAA) applications involving traffic controlsAssisting and providing inputs to support claims or variationsQualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in delivery of large Heavy Civil and/or Transit & Rail Infrastructure construction projectsStrong experience and in-depth knowledge of the local GTA traffic requirements (ie. by-laws, regulations, Applicable Law, practices, guidelines, manuals, standards, specifications, etc.)Prior experience working closely with Metrolinx, City Of Toronto (COT), and Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is an assetPost-Secondary education in an engineering and/or traffic related discipline is an assetExcellent communication and leadership skillsProficient in MS Office 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficient in using Traffic Management/Control software (example: RapidPlan, RapidPath, AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.)#ferrovialconstruction #Canada #entrylevel
