Position Overview:

We are currently hiring

Traffic Control Persons (Flaggers)

to join our field operations team. This is an essential front-line role responsible for the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists in active work zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary traffic control devices (signs, cones, barrels) Direct traffic safely through and around work zones using hand signals and signs Communicate clearly with other crew members to coordinate safe traffic flow Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to Book 7 (Ontario Traffic Manual) regulations Remain alert and responsive to changing traffic and site conditions Maintain a professional demeanor with the public and worksite personnel

Qualifications:

Valid Traffic Control Person OTM Book7 certification as per Ontario standards preferred Experience as a TCP/flagger or in road construction preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused Valid G driver's license and access to transportation preferred
