Job Description
BDP Traffic Management Ltd is looking for an individual over the age of 18, that resides in Grande Prairie, Alberta to join our team as a Traffic Control Person.The successful candidates would need to possess excellent communication skills, a clean drivers abstract, and knowledge of the Grande Prairie area. Oil field tickets are always an asset!This position requires individuals to think and act quickly; traffic situations are always changing and being able to adapt to change and diversity is key.Applicants must:
- Be willing to travel with, as projects and locations may vary.
- Must be physically able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Previous experience within the Traffic Control/Transportation industry an asset, but we are willing to train.
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime.
- Extended health care
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime pay
- Grande Prairie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Oil field: 1 year (preferred)
- Drivers license (required)
- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
