Full-Time, SeasonalFarrell's Excavating Ltd. has opportunities available for multiple Traffic Control Personnel based in Baie Verte, and surrounding areas.Farrell's Excavating has been providing service in the heavy civil industry of Newfoundland since its incorporation over 25 years ago. We play a major role in the completion of many large government and municipal projects that involve the building and paving of many of the province's main highways and rural roads. Our experience, resources, equipment and highly skilled & trained workforce continue to lead us into a future of exponential growth within our industry.As a Traffic Control Personnel, you will be required to work in a team environment and individually to control traffic flow throughout various worksites.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for directing the flow of traffic on or near the worksite.
- Responsible for the safety of all crew members and the general public.
- Responsible for workplace setup, traffic control and general cleanup.
- Valid Traffic Control Certificate
- WHMIS 2015
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- Must be comfortable being exposed to all weather conditions.
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
