Position Overview

At Aecon, people are at the heart of everything we do. As a Traffic Control Personnel travel throughout southern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan is required. This contract is 7 months and will begin in April 2023.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stop, slow, and safely direct traffic through work or construction sites.
  • Protect workers in the construction zone by regulating traffic flow.
  • Give traffic control directions and signals clearly and precisely so that motorists understand their meaning.
  • Keep the flow of traffic moving with as few delays as possible.
  • Other duties as required.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Maintains a valid Class 5 driver\'s license or better.
  • Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
  • Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required.
  • Willing to work overtime, as required.
  • Must comply with the company\'s drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
