You\'ll be provided with 3 weeks minimum vacation to start plus additional long weekend Publicis days, holidays closures, your birthday off, free Headspace memberships, wellness and technology credits, and a market leading savings plan.We strive to provide what matters to you personally with the ability to choose and modify programs to suit your lifestyle.The Broadcast Traffic Coordinator role allows for an overview of the industry as you work closely with Creative agencies, Media investment teams, Media Planning teams, Clearances outlets and broadcasters to generate traffic instructions for a diverse range of advertisers.The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and with high attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter with a pro-active approach to tackling responsibilities and working with colleagues.Responsibilities

  • Interpret media plans into concise Broadcast traffic instructions across different media.
  • Arrange with third party supplier all Television and radio creative delivery to the Broadcasters.
  • Coordinate with third party supplier closed captioning of Television creative.
  • Retrieving distribution lists and media schedules using Mediaocean
  • Creating Broadcast traffic instructions and releasing with media schedules using Never cry wolf (NCW) to Broadcasters
  • Provide station/market summaries to Creative teams for Talent estimating and payments.
  • Manage clearances process for client from Scripts/storyboards phase through final edit with the various Clearances outlets.
  • Assign commercial coding (ISCI / Ad-ID)
  • Create and maintain distribution estimates and open purchases orders as required using Altair (SAP)
  • Approving all vendor\'s invoices on a timely manner using Altair (SAP)
  • Maintain communication with:
  • The media departments regarding spot usage information
  • The account service/creative agencies/direct client teams regarding commercial scheduling.
  • The production teams regarding new commercials
  • Radio/TV stations regarding scheduling information
  • The accounting department regarding distribution billing
  • Commercial regulatory clearances
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Working collaboratively with team members to meet goals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and ability and willingness to learn new and/or proprietary computer applications as required.
  • Organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives.
  • Ability and willingness to learn on the job.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in execution of assignments
  • Meticulously detail oriented.
  • Maintain co-operative and cordial relationships within the office and with all outside vendors.
  • Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
