The X-One Agency EQD team develops and support software in an AGILE environment for trade booking, position management, settlement management and straight through processing of electronic trades. Our software interacts with various upstream and downstream systems.

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities :

• Support the application
• Build and Maintain X-ONE Services for SocGen Agency business activities (Front to Back Office)
• Ensure all data and flows between other trading and settlement applications are maintained
• Collaborate with users and business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems
• Estimate effort and ensure timely delivery
• Ensure agile and continuous delivery methodology is followed
• Be involved on the rollout of releases
• Collaborate with other teams (networking, systems, quality insurance, support, architects, others development teams)

Profile required

Profil

• Graduate with a Master degree from Engineering School or University with a specialization in Computer Science
• Expertise in an object oriented programming language such as C# (preferred), Python, or Java
• Expertise in database technologies and SQL
• Experience using standard DevOps tools (Jira, Git, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy) would be appreciated
• Experience in finance would be appreciated
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Fluent in English

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Montreal is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact there that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
