Work Arrangement: At Office / Facility Department: Maintenance Function

Overview

Pembina\xe2\x80\x99s Gas Services Business Unit is currently seeking a Mechanical Tradesperson. The Position reports to the Shift Lead, Maintenance. This position is geared towards those who are hardworking, self-motivated, and eager to be part of a strong maintenance team. The position will involve maintaining rotating equipment in the GBU Central. This is a Camp Position at Musreau Gas Plant. The preferred work shift will be 7 ON/7 OFF - 12-hour workdays.

Responsibilities

Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Support Pembina\xe2\x80\x99s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the \xe2\x80\x9cLife Saving Rules\xe2\x80\x9d;
• Completing corrective and preventative maintenance on rotating equipment in accordance with Pembina\xe2\x80\x99s preventable maintenance management program;
• Assisting operations in plant optimization and troubleshooting;
• Providing technical support on new projects and management of change (MOC);
• Assist with installation, commissioning, start up, and maintenance of new equipment;
• Assist in completing rotating equipment overhauls;
• Work shift will be 7 ON/ 7 OFF - 12-hour workday is preferred (but not mandatory);
• This is a Camp Position at Musreau Gas Plant;
• Responsible for after hour Call Outs responding to equipment and/or operational problems; and
• Contribute to an environment that values equity, inclusion, and diversity.
  

Job Qualifications

• Journeyman Certification Mechanic or Millwright;
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in gas plants and field operations;
• Ability to troubleshoot natural gas engine and compressor problems effectively;
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications;
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication;
• Working knowledge and experience with SAP would be an asset;
• Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License; and
• Safety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid would be an asset, but if incomplete, will be provided by company to the successful candidate.

This position is considered \xe2\x80\x9cSafety Sensitive\xe2\x80\x9d so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Abstract.

The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie, AB.
