Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s Grande Prairie office is recruiting for a Journeyman Electrical and/or Instrumentation Tradesman to join the team.
Pembina\'s Conventional Pipeline assets comprise a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports Crude Oil, Condensate, NGL and Ethane across much of Alberta, parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and North Dakota.
Reporting to the Area Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible for E&I Maintenance and Operational duties for liquid pipeline operations in the Deep Basin District.

Should the successful applicant be located in the Grande Prairie, AB area, the associated duties will be within this district location.
Should the successful applicant be located in Dawson Creek BD, Gordondale or Rycroft AB, the associated duties will be within the Gordondale district area.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Support Pembina\xe2\x80\x99s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the \xe2\x80\x9cLife Saving Rules\xe2\x80\x9d. To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com/safety;
• Completing assignments safely, efficiently and in an environmentally conscious manner; in compliance with Pembina\xe2\x80\x99s procedures, regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
• On-going preventative maintenance and repair of all electrical and instrumentation equipment such as; MCC switch gear (low and medium voltage up to 4160 VAC), VFDs, Motors, Valve operators, UPS Systems, field indicating transmitters, Liquid Meters, Flow computers, Sulphur Analyzers, and Gas Chromatographs;
• Complete preventative maintenance for Pump Stations, LACT sites and Block Valves to ensure all equipment maintenance is completed to predetermined schedules;
• Installation of new instrumentation and electrical equipment;
• Calibration of Meters and Analog devices and also responsible for lock out tag out of equipment and devices;
• Work in collaboration with Mechanical and Operations groups;
• Work with Planners and Schedulers to ensure work orders are completed effectively and efficiently within SAP;
• Liquid Sampler & HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Programming and troubleshooting using Modicon, Telepace, Unity/Control Expert, Vijeo Design and Vijeo Citec;
• Supervision of construction contractors as required;
• Recommend improvements to Facility efficiency and optimization and follow through to completion utilizing assistance from Operations Engineering and being compliant with our MOC (Management of Change) process; and
• Supporting an Equitable, Inclusive and Diverse workplace.

Qualifications:

• Alberta or Interprovincial Journeyman Certification in Electrical and/or Instrumentation is required;
• Minimum 5 years field experience after Journeyman ticket;
• Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License required;
• Strong knowledge of Modicon PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, RTU\xe2\x80\x99s, VFD\xe2\x80\x99s along with other analytical and instrumentation equipment associated with pipeline operations;
• Some knowledge of communication systems would be an asset;
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, SAP and other business-related computer programs and applications;
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication;
• Safety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid would be an asset, but if incomplete, will be provided by Pembina to the successful candidate; and
• Power System\xe2\x80\x99s and SAP MM experience would be an asset.

This position is considered \xe2\x80\x9cSafety Sensitive\xe2\x80\x9d so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Abstract.

The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie, AB or Dawson Creek, BC.

BC Pay Transparency Requirement: The base salary range for this position is $120,000 CAD to $130,000 CAD. Actual total compensation may differ based on candidate\'s qualifications and location.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
