Trades College: STRUCTURAL FRAMING INSTRUCTOR



Kensington Trades College, Mississauga Campus, is looking for a

STRUCTURAL FRAMING INSTRUCTOR

for our hands-on workshops. This is a part-time position, for occasional evening weekdays and/or daytime weekends. The role would involve building a wood foundation and frame using metal and wood studs, as well as installing doors and windows. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in structural framing who is looking to earn some extra money by sharing your knowledge and experience with eager students. We are seeking passionate, patient, and safety-conscious instructor to deliver

on-campus training

to small class sizes (4-8 students) with a strong focus on hands-on learning for new learners.

Details: DRYWALL WORKSHOP



Duration is 32 hours (4 hours per day, over 8 days) each time we offer it

Successful instructors will be invited back again and again, per our schedule and your availability

We Provide



All tools and materials

Daily lesson plan and teaching resources like handouts, PPTs, and/or textbook

Assignments and Exam

You Provide



5 or more years of wood and metal framing experience, foundations, window and door installation, etc.

Enthusiasm and commitment, reliability and flexibility

Positive reinforcement and constructive educational feedback

Professional and clear verbal and written communication in English only

Experience teaching or effectively leading projects, preferable

Maturity to work autonomously without a lot of supervision

Compensation



$25 to $30 per hour, based on experience

General Shifts: Weekday and Weekend



Morning 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Afternoon 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Evening 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
