OVERVIEW
Vertex is currently accepting applications for a Recruiter in our Sherwood Park office. The successful candidate must be experienced with full-cycle recruitment. The Recruiter will work alongside other members of the HR Team and operations managers to create recruiting plans, create sourcing strategies, establish talent pools, and onboarding new employees. This position will be recruiting mainly for turnaround services that specialize in tank cleaning and turnaround services.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years of high volume industrial recruitment
• Experience creating recruitment plans, talent pools and sourcing strategies
  
• Experience working alongside divisional managers to complete processes and procedures
  
• Ability to be self-motivated and enjoys a fast-paced recruitment environment
• Ability to manage time and deliver results to various business units with competing priorities
• Relationship building capabilities
• Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills; HRIS systems experience is an asset
• Knowledge of employment law
• Excellent analytical and problem, solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full cycle recruitment
• Researching and creating innovative sourcing techniques
• Collaborating with managers to create job advertisements
• Create screening and interview guides based on the needs of the role
• Conduct screens and interviews
• Participate in recruitment fairs
• Use social media tools to identify, attract and hire talent
• Build relationships externally and internally
• Onboarding and offboarding of employees
  
• Provide support to employees and managers/ employee relations issues
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR Metrics to work toward recruiting improvements
  
• Ensure compliance of employment and Vertex standards
• Travel to locations to collaborate with Operation Managers
