General Information:

Provide a high level of Customer Service to internal Hitachi Energy Business Partners, Broker and Transportation Service Providers in relation to imports and transportation functions such as: support and process import activities for U.S. and Canada, provide transportation support related to imports and conduct ad hoc administrative duties related to trade and transportation.

Responsibilities:

Support, manage and process import activity for United States and Canada through SAP / Global Trade Services (GTS).

Monitors, respond and resolve incoming inquiries related to imports for U.S. and Canada.

Prepare documents (Customs invoice / Packing List / B13A) and maintain reports and tracking related to imports and import transportation activities.

As required, support Canada general cargo transportation requests for intra Canada freight.

Professional interface with Internal Customers, Suppliers and Service Providers.

Understanding of CA / U.S. Customs Compliance in relation to Imports.

Understanding of Incoterms 2020, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Free Trade Agreements and Generalized System of preferences.

Understanding of document requirements and trade data elements for international shipments into U.S. or Canada.

High volume data management and analysis.

Audit files, prepare reports review for accuracy and ensure closure to all assigned issues daily.

Support development and provide input to improve import processes including Standard Operating Procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Experience in international Transportation.

Other Miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned, and support parcel shipments as required

Understand Canada export requirements and CERS From B13

Qualifications:

Professional communication with Brokers, Transportation Service Providers, Suppliers and Internal Business Partners

Ability to work independently to resolve issues and prioritize tasks

Good organizational skills and timely response to inquiries

Attention to detail

Bachelor\'s degree in business administration + 2 years experience or High School diploma + 5 years experience

Understanding Trade Compliance U.S. Customs Imports

Understand Incoterms 2020

Exceptional analytical, communication and Customer Service skills

Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point
