TRADE SHOW
Position Description Compensation/salary pay will be dependent on expertise and is negotiable. Trade Show:
Reporting directly to the General Manager
\xe2\x9c\x93 Continually search for new exhibitor contacts, i.e., other fairs / trade shows, mailing lists, directories, websites etc. \xe2\x9c\x93 Develop and maintain a post, present and future customer database for trade shows (for mailing and record keeping of show results and participation) \xe2\x9c\x93 Work with management to develop trade show budgets for revenue and expenses and trade show rental rates for all fairs. \xe2\x9c\x93 Help create new ideas and themes in the trade show areas to keep things fresh. \xe2\x9c\x93 Develop commercial display literature and application forms explaining pricing, dates, times and regulation/requirements. \xe2\x9c\x93 Market commercial display space for all fairs \xe2\x9c\x93 Process exhibitor applications, collect exhibitor insurance documents, produce and distribute trade show contracts, collect signed contracts and payments, and prepare exhibitor packages including admission and parking passes, fair, fire and security regulations, show information and thank-yous \xe2\x9c\x93 Develop maps and layouts of buildings / grounds for trade show space and coordinate layouts with display equipment company, electric company and exhibitors for all fairs. \xe2\x9c\x93 Create a support staff requirement list for The GM as needed for set up and tear down of all trade shows. \xe2\x9c\x93 Monitor trade shows during fairs for things like customer satisfaction, location improvements, show violations, signage and show hours. \xe2\x9c\x93 Compile trade show result reports and do previous year comparisons.
\xe2\x9c\x93 Assist in the set up of curtains and drapes for trade show exhibitors for all events. \xe2\x9c\x93 Provide staff support if and when needed to various fair and event committees buy attending meetings, performing administrative and other duties as required. \xe2\x9c\x93 Assist in organizing assigned components of the fairs and events. Miscellaneous:
\xe2\x9c\x93 Contribute to the proper maintenance and storage of related fair and event records and supplies. \xe2\x9c\x93 Must be willing to work during all events. Set up. During event. Teare down. \xe2\x9c\x93 Assist with other duties as assigned. Updated: May 2023 Position Description - Trade Show / Operations Coordinator Requirements. Willing to work 35 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends during events. Experience working in a sales environment preferred. Familiar in working with the general public. Class 5 driving licence. Six months probationary period. Police check. Salary dependent on experience and ability. All negotiable for the right candidate. Two weeks paid vacation. This position will remain open until filled.
