Join our dynamic construction team as a Tower Crane Operator and take on a vital role in lifting and moving heavy materials safely and efficiently across large-scale building projects. Duties



Operate tower cranes with precision, adhering to all safety protocols and operational guidelines to lift, move, and position construction materials and equipment. Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane machinery, including checking mechanical systems, load capacities, and safety devices to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with ground crew and site managers to plan lifting sequences and execute tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Monitor weather conditions and site signals during crane operation to prevent accidents or equipment damage. Maintain detailed logs of crane operation activities, inspections, and any maintenance or repairs performed. Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues or malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and company safety policies diligently. Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, water truck, dump truck, roll-off truck, front loader truck, farm machinery, tanker trucks, concrete mixers, or Caterpillar machinery as needed on-site. Collaborate effectively with construction teams to facilitate timely delivery of materials like steel beams, concrete forms, and other large components. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices for crane operation and site safety.

Experience



Proven experience operating tower cranes on commercial construction sites or similar heavy lifting environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of crane systems and general heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and other construction machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker trucks preferred. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations is essential. Experience working with various types of heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment or farm machinery is advantageous. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and identify mechanical issues promptly. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth workflow during complex lifts. Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.34-$44.49 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
