Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and boom trucks to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as customer service is a key component of this position.

Duties

Operate cranes and boom trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials on construction sites or industrial settings. Rig loads properly to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials. Communicate clearly with ground personnel to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights and equipment usage. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally. Collaborate with team members to build a safe working environment and assist in other tasks as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Crane Operator or similar role is preferred. Valid crane operator certification or license is required. Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance. Ability to rig loads safely and effectively using appropriate techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Experience operating forklifts is advantageous. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
