Tour Guide

to join our team, helping guests connect with our region's traditions, stories, and landscapes through exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and safe community and regional tours, sharing the history and culture of the area from Indigenous perspectives. Lead a variety of activities, including city tours, hiking, aurora fireside tours, snowmobiling, cultural practices, demonstrations and more. Transport guests, luggage, winter clothing rentals and supplies using company vehicles. Facilitate guest introductions to other tour operators and activities, ensuring smooth transitions. Provide exceptional customer service and always ensure guest safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Self-motivated and reliable, able to manage time effectively and work independently. Demonstrated professionalism, sound work ethics, and a commitment to safety. Class 4 and/or 5 Driver's License (mandatory). Standard First Aid and CPR certification (mandatory). Ability to identify and address workplace hazards and report concerns to the supervisor. Willingness and availability to work

evenings and weekends

as required.

Additional Assets

Knowledge of the region's Indigenous history, culture, language, and natural environment, particularly. Experience in tourism, customer service, or guiding. Multilingual abilities (especially in Indigenous languages, French or Spanish) are a plus.
