Walking and Bike Tour Guides

to join our team in

Victoria, BC

. As a Tour Guide, you'll lead groups of 4-30 guests on engaging, entertaining tours of your community. You'll share stories, local history, art, culture, and insider recommendations to help travelers experience the city like a local.

This is a

freelance/contract position

, perfect for people who are social, energetic, and passionate about their community. Candidates will invoice Toonie Tours for tours guided. Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with weekend availability an asset.

What You'll Do:

Lead walking and biking tours for groups of 4-30 guests. Research, learn, and present stories that bring your city to life. Deliver excellent customer service by offering recommendations and tips to travelers. Represent Toonie Tours as a local expert and community ambassador. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

What We're Looking For:

Strong communication skills - confident, personable, and able to project your voice. Storytelling ability - engaging, entertaining, and positive with a sense of humor. Self-starter - thrives in a performance-based role and strives for 5-star reviews. Flexible, adaptable, and punctual. Physically fit - able to walk up to 5 km in 2.5 hours while presenting. Legally eligible to work in Canada. Fluency in English required; Spanish is an asset (other languages welcome: French, German, Portuguese).

Pay: $17.85-$18.55 per hour
