Our team is dedicated to creating exciting and enjoyable experiences for guests from around the world. JOB DESCRIPTION See Sight Tours provides visitors to Cape Breton with small group tours and private sightseeing tours. Tour Guides are expected to create an exciting, fun, friendly and enjoyable experience for our customers by removing the stress of travel and taking care of all tickets, line-ups and also engaging in relevant and informed conversation regarding the vibrant sights and surrounds of Cape Breton Island. Our tour guides must be able to lead multiple groups of visitors through points of historical, cultural or regional interests. They will be able to provide in-depth knowledge about destinations frequented by tourists and vacationers from all around the world. Tour guides must be able to retain historical facts, dates and anecdotes, and then relay that information to visitors in an entertaining and informative way. Guides will have to be able to multitask through driving and presenting commentary, as well as coordinate pre-arranged tour activities such as visits to local attractions, restaurants and shops throughout Cape Breton. Our tour guides will be trained on-the-job. No previous knowledge of the Sydney, NS area is necessary for the position, though some experience and knowledge will be considered an asset during the hiring process. Our paid tour guide training will bring out your best qualities and turn you into a local historian and story-teller in no time. • Valid Driver\'s License
• Must have clean driver\'s abstract (driving record)
• Friendly, enthusiastic attitude
• Passion for the history of Cape Breton
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Clean Background check & drug test
• Must be comfortable with seasonal employment

• Position begins Jul 1, 2023
• Work hours may vary between 8am 3pm
• $15.00 / HR + Tips
• Must be comfortable driving a minivan while talking
• Must hold a full, valid driver\'s license
• Driver is responsible for insurance deductible on vehicle damage
