PINNACLE HOTEL HARBOURFRONT Our hotel has been a fixture of Vancouver\xe2\x80\x99s Coal Harbour neighbourhood for several decades. With the vision of Pinnacle Hospitality Division 2015 marked a new chapter for the Hotel, becoming the latest addition to the Pinnacle family of hotels. With a local focus and guest driven approach, we leverage our hotel\xe2\x80\x99s ability to make our own decisions to ensure that we are competitive in the market and deliver the best guest experiences while planning, staying and after their stay at any Pinnacle Hotel. With 35,000 square feet of event space and 442 guestrooms, the hotel is a fixture in the local convention, meeting and social event circles of Vancouver and we are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic person to join the sales team to continue our growth in this segment of the business. The position is accountable for event co-ordinating definite business of our Tour and FIT Wholesale segments for the Pinnacle Hotel Harboufront. Ensures that all contracted and turned over business will be professionally managed. Adhering to contracted terms and conditions while delivering an excellent guest experience. Completes the daily task list for Tour Groups, while ensuring the best possible experience is had by our Tour and FIT Wholesale Guests. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience \xc2\xb7 Minimum one year of Front Office Hotel experience. \xc2\xb7 Experience with Opera Sales & Catering (an asset). \xc2\xb7 Post-Secondary Education in hotel, banquet / catering management an asset. \xc2\xb7 Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize within tight timelines. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Social Tables and Opera Property Management System an asset. \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a 24/7 hotel environment, including weekends, evenings and holidays. \xc2\xb7 Must be legally permitted to work in Canada; preference will be given to locally based, market experienced candidates. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Facilitating the reservation, planning and onsite experience of our guests: \xc2\xb7 Tour Checklist is completed daily. \xc2\xb7 Proactively work with confirmed Tour Groups to ensure all details and timelines are confirmed and met. \xc2\xb7 Meet and Greet Tour Groups and other clients as needed. \xc2\xb7 Work with Sales Manager to ensure all contract terms are met and upheld by hotel and client. Core Activities \xc2\xb7 Manage Guestroom Blocks, create Banquet Event Orders, Group Resumes, attend Precons, Client Visits and Client Meetings leading up to and during group\xe2\x80\x99s/clients arrival and inhouse experience. \xc2\xb7 Client follow up to determine successes and challenges during the groups/guests time at the hotel. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned by Senior Director, Sales and Marketing Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
