We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Torch Cutter, Monday to Friday from 6:30am-3:30pm. In this role, you will be responsible for operating torch equipment to cut and trim various materials.

What you're responsible for:

Operating torch equipment to cut and trim different metal materials Setting up and preparing torch equipment and ensuring proper safety measures are in place Performing cutting tasks with precision and accuracy Inspecting finished workpieces and making adjustments as needed Assisting with material handling and preparation tasks, such as moving and securing workpieces using clamps or fixtures Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of equipment and materials

Qualifications

To join our team:

You have previous experience in metalworking, welding, fabrication, or a related field is preferred but not required You have a basic understanding of torch equipment operation and safety procedures You show strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work Have you good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity You have the ability to stand and bend for long periods of time and lift objects as required * You are comfortable working outdoors and being exposed to all the elements
