Job Description

Guelph Manufacturing Group Inc. is currently hiring for a Tooling Engineer. The chosen candidate would be responsible for:

Plan and organize operations of the tool shop.

Consult with suppliers to prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present engineering reports and findings.

Participate in the design, development and inspection of tooling projects.

Responsible for tracking tooling status from tool shops and reporting to the engineering department.

Participate in APQP regarding die build/ repair status.

Organize tryouts both at die shop and home line.

All other duties as assigned

Skills Required

:

Blueprint Reading

GD&T and fixturing

Proficient with Microsoft Applications

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Solid Comprehension of tools and dies

Excellent mechanical aptitude

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

Motivated to work with tight timelines

Some solid works experience

*Current license

What are we looking for?

Tool and Die maker or Tooling Engineer with stamping experience

5 years in metal stamping and die making

Post secondary education in Engineering or Tool and Die Making
