Here we grow again! We are a looking for an outgoing and friendly individual to join our sales team in the capacity of Tool Sales/Service Person. This position will also provide backup sales support in other departments as needed and will be responsible for sales, service and warranty, administration, and merchandising within the tool department. Experience within the retail industry in a sales capacity, and/or purchasing, would be considered an asset. Responsibilities:
Wm. Dyck & Sons is a family owned business that was founded in the early 1950\xe2\x80\x99s by William W. Dyck and is currently owned by Carl Fast, grandson of Mr. Wm. Dyck. The company continues to grow, and in 2015, opened a 9000 sqft Flooring Centre on the same property as their retail store and Cabinet Centre. They have also added a distribution center just outside of Niverville to handle all building material deliveries. The business serves customers in communities around Niverville, across Manitoba and into Ontario. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:
- Provide the highest level of service to all customers with the main objective of serving our retail customers and contractors
- Provide customers with information on additional items related to purchases made
- Learn and utilize all aspects of our Point of Sale (POS) system
- Provide backup-up sales support to all areas as needed
- Provide backup-up support to our cashiers as needed
- Perform merchandise re-stocking as needed
- Cycle counts as directed
- Manage customer complaints quickly and efficiently
- Administer and manage service/warranty requests and claims
- Receive product and manage warehouse inventory
- Hardware, tools, or LBM experience in a sales and/or purchasing capacity would be an asset
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Organized
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft Office experience an asset
