Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, organized, and maintained. This role requires strong skills in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and inventory control to support our operational needs effectively.

Responsibilities



Maintain accurate inventory records and manage the flow of tools and equipment within the tool crib. Perform regular audits of tool inventory to ensure proper stock levels and identify any discrepancies. Assist with purchasing and sourcing of new tools and equipment as needed. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track tool usage and availability. Collaborate with other departments to understand their tool requirements and facilitate timely order fulfillment. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in tool management and distribution. Conduct data analysis to identify trends in tool usage and inform procurement decisions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations regarding materials handling and storage. Operate forklifts and other machinery as required for stocking and organizing tools.

Experience



Proven experience in warehouse management, supply chain analytics, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with procurement processes, negotiation techniques, and supplier management. Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining, financial analysis, and data visualization using tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., AS400) for inventory management is a plus. Experience in demand planning, logistics, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment will be advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for stocking tools and equipment. Previous experience in retail management or e-commerce environments is beneficial. Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
